My best business ideas NEVER come from grinding
My best business ideas NEVER come from grinding
They come from:
Riding my motorbike to get snacks at 9pm Reading my bible in the morn Demolishing chorizo tacos with extra lime (iykyk)
Last week I solved a 6-figure problem.
Not at my desk. Not in a strategy session. Not after my 47th coffee.
But while watching the Bali sunset with 3 stray beach dogs
Coconut in the hand Brain finally quiet Phone on dnd
BOOM.
The solution.
So obvious I laughed out loud.
Here's what hustle culture doesn't tell you:
Your brain isn't a machine. It's a garden.
+ gardens need....?
SEASONS!
Plant (work). Water (rest). Wait (trust). Harvest (breakthrough).
Skip the watering? Everything dies.
I used to feel guilty for not grinding 24/7.
Now?
My calendar has blocks for 'whatever the f I wanna do' My mornings start with devotions, not emails My best work happens over tacos
The Pinterest strategy that took a client to 7 figures?
Came to me mid-Netflix
(I'm not even joking)
The dating show idea that sold 200 tickets?
A joking comment when messing around with my housemates
The agency pivot that saved my sanity?
Revealed itself between bites of chorizo
(no - it wasn't wedged in the taco)
Your next million-dollar idea isn't hiding in your laptop.
It's waiting for you to get quiet enough to hear it.
So close the laptop. Take the ride. Read the book. Eat the tacos.
The work will be there tomorrow.
But the breakthrough? That only comes in the pause.
Trust the process. Especially the parts that don't look like work.
Those are usually the most important.
P.S. If you see me cruising around Canggu on my pink bike, I'm not procrastinating...
I'm problem-solving at 40mph 🏍️
