is marketing gonna become obsolete in the future cos of AI?

yeah, in some ways

right now we're in a transition period

a few years ago it took a whole team and a good 1-2 weeks to make an ad, a marketing strategy, even a lead magnet

now we can do that using the help of AI

(of course, with human guidance, great prompting and refining)

so in a way, those things will become less necessary

but we're already starting to see the downfall of brands that rely too heavily on AI

no MRR growth, wishy washy content, too many plates spinning (with AI)

the way I see us coming out of this transition period is a few things:

1. Analogue is going to become more of a trend. Brands that use it will win 2. Brands relying too much on AI will quite simply die and lower the competition pool for the rest of us - yay x 3. Social platforms will adjust algorithms and tagging even more, including lowering algorithm rankings for brands that use AI too heavily

i mean the list could go on and on but i guess the moral of the story is to use AI, but not too much

if you refuse to use it to better your business, you'll lose if you use it anywhere and everywhere you can, you will also lose

marketing jobs won't get replaced, but they will become fewer

it's actually a good thing, because it will weed out the people that are shite at marketing (bc if u can be replaced by AI, you were never truly a good marketer)

anyway just some thoughts while im eating my garlic shrimp for lunch - lmk if you have any thoughts/opinions on where we're going after this transition phase
