I yawn at 99% of businesses on here
I yawn at 99% of businesses on here
(yes, because ur boring)
Whilst you’re running around making Canva graphics 🏃♀️
GROWING brands are taking action and re-inventing the wheel
Hosting guerrilla campaigns
INTERACTING with their audience
Trialing and testing, unafraid to make mistakes 🙋🏻♀️
This week I launched a live dating show with my co-founders
All part of a bigger movement to reintroduce genuine human interaction instead of likes and digital comments
We f**k*d up - bad 🥲
The show DID NOT go to plan
The audio didn’t record
The venues dodgy mics meant the audience only heard 60% of what was said 🙃
Not to mention that the day before EVERY SINGLE contestant dropped out and we had to literal scramble to find new ones
But we laughed about it
We interacted with the audience
And you know what?
Everyone stayed about 1 hour after the event and asked where to get tickets for the next one
(We promised we’d sort all audio issues)
Sure we sold 200 tickets 🎟️
Sure we have venues in Bali begging us to move the show to their place 🤑
Sure we got cool footage 📸
But you know what I love most?
We saw real people laughing
New friends being made
and one new ‘couple’ exchanging numbers!
We made that happen, all through a bit of guerrilla marketing
+ that’s why people follow my brand(s)
That’s why people hire me to take over their marketing campaigns
or hire me as a CMO to oversee strategy
Real. Human. Connection.
Sales where both sides benefit
Not a ‘WE SOLVE X INSECURITY WITH OUR PRODUCT’ on a Meta Ad
Real impact - my favourite movement 🩷🩷
